Glee Season 2 Episode 17 A Night of Neglect

'Glee' returns from its hiatus tonight with 'Night of Neglect.' After losing to the New Directions at Regionals, coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) will pull out all the stops to prevent Mr. Schu's (Matthew Morrison) glee kids from succeeding at Nationals -- assembling Schuester's ex-wife Terri, his New Directions predecessor and the coach of rival glee group Vocal Adrenaline.

Cast member Cory Monteith, who plays Finn, tells TV Guide that the musical focus of the episode will be on "artists that may have been neglected or under-appreciated over the years." He also mentioned the show's attempt to clear music licensing rights to a song by Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk. She eventually declined the request.

Songs that are included in the tonight's line up include Aretha Franklin's 'Ain't No Way' performed by Amber Riley (Mercedes), Celine Dion's cover of Eric Carmen's 'All by Myself' performed by returning guest star Charice (Sunshine), Lykke Li's new quirky hit 'I Follow Rivers' covered by Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), and Adele's super-ballad 'Turning Tables' performed by Gwyneth Paltrow in her third and final appearance on the show as the cooky-yet-sexy substitute teacher Holly Holliday.

The newest episode follows yesterday's news that Darren Criss aka Blaine will record his own solo studio album with Sony. Adding to the big day of 'Glee' news, yesterday also marked the debut release from the Dalton Academy Warblers -- listen to the full Warblers album on AOL's Listening Party.
